Loantec · Finance brokerage, Australia

A finance brokerage that stopped losing leads and started winning borrowers better rates

Loantec is an Australian finance brokerage. Its website was dated, its security was behind the times, and its chatbot had quietly died. Working closely with the owner, Yo-Da Lai rebuilt the whole thing to a fintech-grade standard with a modern security posture, replaced the dead chatbot with a working borrower intake path, and wired in lead capture and automated follow-up — so the team stops missing potential clients. The architecture was left open so more automations can plug in later. Borrowers have since secured loans at better interest rates, with the owner filming videos alongside real clients as proof.

What was breaking?

The website was outdated and its security features were behind current standards — not the impression a finance brokerage wants to give. The chatbot meant to greet borrowers had stopped working, so enquiries hit a dead end. Leads were slipping through the cracks, and there was no simple way to build on top of what they had. The owner wanted a solid foundation that could improve the site now and connect to more automations later.

What did we build?

Working closely with the owner, we rebuilt the site from the ground up to a fintech-grade standard with a modern security posture, and replaced the dead chatbot with a working borrower intake path so an enquiry actually goes somewhere.

  • A complete website rebuild with a modern, fintech-grade security posture.
  • A working borrower intake path in place of the dead chatbot.
  • Lead capture that records every enquiry instead of letting it slip away.
  • Automated follow-up so no potential borrower goes cold from silence.
  • An architecture left open for more automations to plug in later.

What changed?

The brokerage now captures leads instead of losing them, and every enquiry has somewhere to go. Borrowers have gone on to secure loans at better interest rates — the owner filmed videos with real clients who landed better rates, so the proof exists on camera.

How is it kept safe?

Sensitive steps still run past a person. The intake path captures and organises enquiries, but the team stays in control of who gets contacted and how. Actions are logged so nothing happens in the dark, and the modern security posture protects borrower information the way a finance business should.
